CHANV started in 2004, by Manon Letarte, a qualified herbalist and cosmetologist, who made her own body care products. Their products are made primarily with hemp oil. In 2015, they are licensed by Health Canada to grow and process hemp.
Ola Bamboo was started by three entrepreneurs in Quebec. Their mission is to help reduce plastic waster by offering eco-friendly products that are affordable and easy to use. Their toothbrushes are made in Canada. Manufacturing happens in Drummondville, Quebec.
