Our Reason for Existing

Norther was created to help consumers discover products and services created by Canadians. Canada is geographically vast, culturally diverse, and full of industrious people. Collectively we make great products, but sometimes they can be hard to find. We at Norther are dedicated to shining a light on all the great things Canadians make.



You Decide

Of course, all products are not created equal. Some products are designed, manufactured, and headquartered in different locations. We intend to distinguish (as best we can) just how Canadian a product is by including as much information as possible about how products are created. While we would like all products to be manufactured in Canada, we understand that that is not always possible. We include products that are designed in Canada and manufactured elsewhere. Our goal is to provide exposure and information, and leave it up to to you to decide how Canadian a product is; and ultimately which products and companies you choose to support.



Sustainability

We live in a beautiful country on a beautiful planet. Consumerism tends to be hard on the environment. Norther believes in responsible consumerism. We intend to help consumers buy local. We also will do our best to provide information about how sustainably produced products are.
